Join us for an amazing Portrait Drawing Intensive
A focused, hands‑on class designed to sharpen your portrait‑drawing skills while introducing techniques for charcoal, white charcoal on toned paper.
The Bootcamp begins with a guided class demo: Andrew draws from a reference photo while students follow along step‑by‑step on the same portrait. After the demo, a live model joins the session. Students work from life while Andrew provides personalized coaching, individual feedback & corrections.
WHAT YOU’LL LEARN
• Head Proportions & Anatomy — structure, planes, and likeness
• Light Logic — simplifying values for clarity
• Two‑Tone Statement — using charcoal + white charcoal effectively
• Charcoal on Toned Paper — additive and subtractive techniques
• Drawing with a Brush — soft transitions and expressive marks
